In the article, “Don’t Leave Me Out” by Catherine Sebastian talks about how adolescents deals with rejection from their peer group. The middle and early years of adolescent is a crazy time. The child is learning about themselves and wants to be accepted among their peers. Some Kids struggle with this while others don’t. It about the child’s confidence in their self and learning to accept rejection. It can lead into adulthood with always seeking acceptance by engaging inappropriate behavior.
