War is not a new concept with World War I starting in the 28th of July in 1914. War has been defined as a conflict between nations through warfare, land, sea or air. War brings many consequences that include death and destruction, merciless slaughter and butchery, disease and starvation, poverty. The ‘Teenage Tommies’ Documentary demonstrates many perspectives of the five young men who fought in WWI and their experiences in war. Aby Bevistein (AB), one of the teenage tommies was just 16 years of age when he had signed up for war and what he had experienced was horrific. Throughout the documentary I have developed more knowledge on the subject of war and as a person.
