What ideas Are Expressed By Greg Kelton In Text 1 ?
Greg Kelton explores the idea’s that the motivation for graffiti vandalism is changing it’s social attraction. It isn’t usually about shoving it to the machine or rebelling through boredom. It now appears to be more a social event the taggers and a matter of pride. If this is the case the police and correctional agencies are taking the wrong approach to the matter. He highlights the increase of how tagging has increased in recent year but the prosecution of vandals are nowhere even close to half of the offenders get caught. By saying this and with the facts already presented he’s trying to show that the methods we are using are out of date and are not working with the current motives
