In 2015, actor and comedian Bill Cosby admitted to using drugs on women to sexually assault them. In his 2018 retrial, the deposition led to the jury’s conviction of Cosby as guilty of sexual assault. For many years, the legendary comedian’s reputation was tarnished by bad press.
His wife and manager, Camille Cosby, assembled a legal team to handle the controversy. Being his manager, it was also her duty to manage the numerous sexual allegations from various women against her husband which spanned for many decades. Cosby’s legal team was very strategic and although Camille rarely spoke about the issue in public, their press statements always included her points.
