Eric Liu has a powerful way of writing. His words are very persuasive and yet can annoy the reader at the same time. Lui starts by giving background on his life. Born in America he is Asian decent. Liu has been a custom to the way Americans live mostly "Whites". Thus he believes he is "White". Liu talks about how he would spend the night with his "White" friends.
