What I did learn about the New Testament is Jesus leaves in chapter 1 of the books of Acts and how the Holy Spirit replaces the departed Jesus. Through the story of Ananias & Sapphira, I learned how the Holy Spirit reveal heart secrets. The story is about the how the early Christian church in Jerusalem and Barnabas sold their excess land or possessions and donated the money so no one would go hungry. Ananias and his wife Sapphira also sold a piece of property, but they kept back part of the proceeds from themselves and gave the rest to the church, placing the money at the apostles' feet.
