I think Andersonville prison camp is one the deadliest prison camp in American history. So, here is some reason why I think so, reason #1, they captured soldiers after battle, #2 conditions of the camp, #3 the populations #4-deaths. At andersonville, the confederate could provide the right housing food or medical. They had one water source which the use to drink and go to the bathroom, they went down stream to drink, but they went up stream to go to the bathroom. A lot of the deaths were by overcrowding, because the lack of space. The leading cause of deaths is starvation, if you are surviving starvation or poisoning from were likely to die from exposure.
