In Document D it shows he played two great roles. Of course, what kind of hero reduces his wages? Well, it was a smart move at times but then he’d also give back to those in need. He became big in the steel industry. If it wasn’t for the strong material buildings would’ve came down easier due to weak material. With steel we have stronger/stable buildings to prevent less deaths/injuries. Also, it was pretty smart of him to let others know to give your wealth to public use. In Document B it states “There remains, then, only one mode of using great fortunes; … the duty of the man of wealth (is to) set an example of modest .... living… trust funds…” People with money shouldn’t die with every penny still attached to them. His money still goes through trust funds until this day. He does give the most to his cooperation but still he managed to use his wealth for public use. I’d say it’s the thought that counts and his thought really did count because it made an impact.
There’s going to a total con side to the pros. However, I believe Andrew Carnegie was a hero and someone that set off really well. He did go with the traits I talked about and believed what a hero really is. It really does have it’s pros and cons. I believed he made an impact on America. He taught a lesson, and has a trust fund going
