Carnegie, Rockefeller, Morgan. All these men have something in comment. They all had huge impacts on the american we know today. Some people may consider them robber barons because of the harsh working conditions, and the little pay that they put many people though but others may think that they are pillars of american society this is shown when they give their money back to charities, or when they help out the poor. In the long run these men were all robber barons. The many bad things these men did will affect america forever. “An unscrupulous plutocrat, especially an American capitalist who acquired a fortune in the late nineteenth century by ruthless means.” this is the definition that has been placed on these three men.

Andrew Carnegie, many people have heard this name, but not many people know his story. This mad started out with nothing and rose from the dirt to be one of the wealthiest men in his era.
