Also, Andrew Jackson used the Spoil System. Then, Nicholas Biddle and Andrew Jackson were in a bank war. Now I will tell you details of how Andrew Jackson is a transformative President.
Andrew Jackson changed the presidency by being the first president to use political parties. Whigs and democrats were the two parties. Whigs wanted the federal government to spur the economy. The Democrats’ had traced back to Andrew Jackson because he started them. The parties gave the people of the nation a chance to have a choice to pick their president on how well they campaign for office. The political parties developed a new way to choose candidates for President. Now all presidential candidates use political parties when running, to try and win for President.
Another thing Andrew Jackson did that made him a transformative president was he used the spoil system, which granted his friends, supporters, and colleague a spot to work in office. It was an award for winning the victory of president, and his reward was having his friends with him. Passed presidents had used it but not to Andrew Jacksons extent.
