Not unlike a villain in a storybook, Andrew Jackson is a villain, but for different reasons. Andrew Jackson is a villain because of the things he did as President of the United States of America, like relocating natives (resulting in many deaths,) overruling the Supreme Court, and using dirty methods to become president in the first place, or “mudslinging.” He treated the indians like savages and he did not care about checks and balances. His presidency resulted in lots and lots of deaths and unfairness. Does that sound like a hero’s behavior?
One of the specific reasons he was a villainous president is the way he treated the Native Americans. He believed in Manifest Destiny, which meant that nothing and nobody had the right to stop the United
