Jackson had a name for himself, and not just any ordinary named but a name that made him stand out. As I said before, he grew up in poverty so he knew what it was like to struggle and not have much to do anything. He didn’t want the rich, especially rich white men being the only people to have the opportunity or chance at things. I believe this is where voting came in and this gave all of the white men the right to have a chance to “speak” for their self and put them opinion in. This made him very popular. There was much work done. Politics was the major change in this century. The Republic was the strongest all the way to the War of 1812 but Jackson made the Democrat be the better party. Though there were still anti-Jacksonist that tried to over power and take down Jackson, they didn’t have much success. If it wasn’t for all of the political parties, religious values, and the progress put in for the northeast changing then things probably would be a lot of hostility. There are many people that loved Jackson and what he did for the country and there are also people that felt like he didn’t do much or his views were all the way valid.
So as a result, the Jackson era was a rollercoaster. It had a big significant to the United States history. It extended to the expansion, company and democracy. Jackson expanded the United States.
