Description Andy Warhol created the canvas ‘Orange Car Crash Fourteen Times’ in 1963. He stole the picture of the car crash from the front page of his newspaper. At first he attempted to paint it but failed. Although he was unable to paint the image of what he wanted he was able to print it with silkscreen ink. Andy Warhol reprinted the same car crash fourteen times and dyed them all orange. He then painted a blank canvas the same hue of orange as the pictures of the car crash and placed the blank canvas next to it.
