This average income also does not include bonuses/etc. Some related jobs to an anesthesiologist are being an anesthesiologist assistant or an anesthesia technician. I choose this career due to many reasons. First, I choose this career field because after completing eight years of college for a bachelor's and doctor degree and learning all the different jobs in the medical field I would be able to change my career path and specialize in something else besides an anesthesiologist and not have all my time in college wasted. Another reason why I choose this career was because it is a very high paying job.
