Although animals in zoos are sometimes kept in small environments, there are some cases for it. Speaking from a personal point of view, I am sure that many people from around the world have enjoyed visiting zoos and the animals that inhabit it. While true that there are some negatives for keeping animals in captivity, there can be good reasons for it. Animals have been given second chances in these exhibits; we have saved animals from extinction. Creating sanctuaries for endangered animals to close off land from hunters is a great way to benefit the wildlife; animals in zoos are guaranteed care on a regular basis, and rehabilitation for animals that were in the wild is also extremely beneficial.

In the United States and around the world there are dedicated places in the wild for animals to live known as sanctuaries, or nature parks. Since these parks are closed off to hunters, the animals are guaranteed a natural life that is not interfered with by humans. In this land they can reproduce or kill off by natural selection, the way that it has been before the involvement of us. To say that there aren’t any negatives to this wouldn’t exactly be untrue. While we have selected a specific place for these animals to thrive, there isn’t any other involvement than that. We can only protect these animals by the effort put forth. …show more content…
