Cell Membrane
The basic job of the Cell Membrane is to protect the cell from all of its surroundings and it consists of the phospholipid bilayer with embedded proteins.
Smooth ER
What the Smooth ER does is it synthesizes lipids, phospholipids, and steroids. Also it has cells which secrete these products, such as those in the testes, ovaries, and skin oil glands.
Cytoplasm
The Cytoplasm contains molecules, such as enzymes which are responsible for breaking down waste and also aid in metabolic activity. Also its responsible for giving a cell its shape and form. It helps to fill out the cell and keeps organelles in their place.
Golgi Apparatus
The Golgi Apparatus is to process and package proteins and lipids that are synthesized by the cell.
Mitochondria
Mitochondria are the cell's power producers. They convert energy into forms that can be used by the cell. Its located in the cytoplasm. They are the sites of cellular respiration which ultimately
Rough ER
It is very important in the synthesis and packaging of proteins. Some of those proteins might be used in the cell and some are sent out and never used.
Lysosome
Known as the stomach of the cell Lysosomes are cellular organelles that contain acid hydrolase enzymes that break down waste materials and cellular debris. It also eats any worn out organelles or food particles.
Nucleolus
Referred as the brain of the cell it contains all of the
DNA of that cell and
