Each year, over 100 million animals are cruelly tested and prodded by drug companies. Most of these animals will die in laboratories.The animals at the heart of these wicked and immoral tests are not just mice; dogs, cats, and guinea pigs are all involved in the practice. Drug companies that test their medicines on animals before humans are endangering humans and wasting billions of taxpayers money every year. Although it is true that animal testing can lead to new, life saving treatments to be found, the number of success cases is marginal. 95% of drugs that were deemed “successful” or “safe” in animal testing trials failed when moved on to human trials.
