Inmates should be able to donate their organs because there are many people who need organs, and many other countries do. Many people struggle with medical needs and require organs. In the article it mentions “There are almost 113,000 people in this country awaiting some form of transplant”. If someone is sick and needs an organ transplant, there is a very low chance of success or of getting an organ. We are decreasing the chance of survival by limiting who can donate their organs.
