From Previous readings, we have learned that Puritans value their religion and beliefs over most everything else, to the point of leaving their home in search of a “new world” where they would be free to practice as they wish. Anne Bradstreet was no different. She lived from 1612 to 1672. Bradstreet came to America from England, from a family with Puritan beliefs.
