Even though Anne was young, she had big dreams of becoming a writer. In the text it states “Will I ever be able to write well? I want to do so much. I want to go on living even after my death. Already I know what I want. I have a goal, an opinion” (Paragraph 404). In other words, Anne is very dedicated and passionate about her future as a writer. Another example of this is, “By the spring of 1944, the 13 year old girl with the diary had grown into a real writer” (Paragraph 18). This shows that Anne had become a real writer, so much so that others who have read her diary noticed. The author stated, “Anne was developing into a literary writer, who was critical of what she wrote” (Paragraph 10). This reveals that Anne worked hard to rewrite her diary. She carefully thought through the details and planned how she wanted her published diary to be. Another example is, “This brilliant young girl revised her diary because she discovered that she had become a much better writer” (Paragraph 11). This describes how Anne grew as a writer and began the journey that started her career. Her revised diary allowed her to share her thoughts and opinions about the experiences she had been
