Renewable energy sources are a key for the future development of the human race. Renewable energy is energy taken from renewable resources. They must replenish within a human timescale. Some examples of renewable energy sources are Solar, Wind, Tidal/Wave, and Geothermal Energy. In the past year of 2016, 19.2% of renewable energy was provided towards the human global energy consumption and 23.7% to their generation of electricity in 2014 and 2015, respectively. It is important that we find these Renewable energy sources and make them efficient enough to replace our heavy dependence on nonrenewable sources such as coal, oil, and natural gas.

Geothermal produced energy is currently in use in 24 countries, also geothermal heating in used in 70 countries. In 2015, worldwide geothermal power capacity amounts at 12.8 Gigawatts, and 28% (3 548) of those gigawatts are installed in the United States. Moreover, according to the current knowledge and technology, the Geothermal Energy Association (GEA) estimates that only 6.5 percent of total global potential has been tapped so far. On the other hand, the IPCC reported that geothermal power has the potential of 35 Gigawatts to 2 Terawatts. Countries that have geothermal power generated energy include El Salvador, Kenya, the Philippines, Iceland and Costa Rica.
Wind Power Wind power is power generated by the use of air flow spinning a turbine to mechanically generate electrical energy. Wind power is a reliable and renewable source of energy. It is a clean source that leaves no waste or emits no greenhouse gases. In 2015, Denmark generated 40% of its energy from wind power. Furthermore, 78 other countries use wind power as well. Wind power is very consistent from year to year with its energy production rate. In 2014 wind power capacity in the global scale raised to 4% for worldwide electric power usage.
