In 1933, Nazi German authorities began to synchronize Nazi ideaology, to achieve this goal, the Nazi Germans would burn books that were deemed “impure”, or go against Nazi ideology. The Nazi’s did this to rid any bad narratives of the Nazis, and in the end have a full Nazi supporting country. By burning “Un-German” books, Nazi ideas were seen as the right ideas and anyone that goes against these ideas were wrong and were perceived as outsiders. No matter how brutal the deaths would be in WWII, the support that people would have for their country would outway the sympathy they felt for others.
