I don't think the government should be asking for apple to make a code so they can gain access to everyone's data or a specific person's data. The reason why I think this shouldn't happen is once Apple makes this code for the government to do all of this someone can hack into Apple’s system and steal the code. Once they have the code they have access to everyone's data which could affect the country greatly. Also it will affect everyone else in the other countries. If the government asks Apple to …show more content…
First off it would take a lot of time and energy to make this happen. It’s not like it will happen over night, it might take a couple of months to make this “backdoor”. Once they make it then they have a higher chance to get hacked and the code being found and used for bad things. After apple makes this code they are risking everyone's safety and that is unacceptable in my opinion. In a video I had watched they said “apple not opening these phones and making the backdoor for these phones is technically blood on their hands.”, but if they make is code and a terrorist attack happens because they have this code is literally blood on Apples hands. It's not fair to try and force them to make this code and then go and say this event is blood on their hands because they wouldn't give you the code. I think it is an overreach made by the government. If they force apple to make this then they're forcing everyone else to make this code for their phones and they're risking their lives over some silly request that shouldnthave been made. It will just hurt us more than is being done right now. In the long run they are jeopardizing everyone’s safety and could get even more people killed in a
