It is important for someone to know their true identity because without it you are just someone. You are someone that has no point in doing something, or that is just whatever they might please to be. Also because our identity is how people define ourselves, when Tod(random person) defines himself, how would he do it. Would he want to define himself as someone who is truly him, or someone that he is not. For example, if he goes to church every Sunday and grow gardens in his freetime. Then he will not tell someone that he goes to the beach on weekends and parties. April struggles to find her identity because everyone she knows has a mask on, and in their world, the color of the mask says that person’s identity. The problem is that she has on a mask too and it is telling her identity, and she does not know to take it off. With Hercules, his problem is that his identity has a crack in it and he has to go through all of these tough challenges to get it …show more content…
In the movie about April, through her journey she had to go through the faces of other crowds while being different than them the whole time. This is like Hercules because he had to get through the crowds also because he was stronger than the other people and it was very unnormal which made his identity different because it was not true. Another thing that is similar between April and Hercules is that both of them never gave up in the movies. April knew she was not normal and she knew that she had to do something about it, so she kept battling until she was not just fine with being irregular. With Hercules he knew that he had lost all of his strength, but he kept fighting for what he thought was right with everything he had. These are just two ways they are different in these movies, so they were both very brave people, but brave in different
