His decision-making ultimately led to conflict with Dr. Mann whose main objective is to execute plan B. In constrast to Cooper,, Dr. Mann exemplifies the opposite traits: he is a coward, he does not care what happens to people on Earth, and his main concern is completing the mission orchestrated by Professor John Brand. With this in mind, Dr. Mann consider Cooper as an obstacle. For that reason, He deliberately attempted to kill Cooper on the icy planet, to get rid of him since Cooper agreed to be part of the mission only to save people on Earth. Fortunately, Cooper survives. In fact, one of the best scenes that illustrates Cooper’s courage and will power was to dock the Endurance, a spaceship that started spiraling towards the stratosphere caused by an explosion when Dr. Mann failed docking due to imperfect contact. Later, Cooper sacrifices himself detaching from the Endurance in order to assure that the spaceship is pushed out of orbit of the black hole. When he got sucked in the black hole he finds himself in an inter-dimensional universe in space and time. He realized that all this time, he was the ghost in Murph’s room. Here, Cooper implements codes to help Murph, who was now a grown up, unsolved the mysteries of gravity in order to save people on
