In the story of The Princess Bride, Wesley and Buttercup's reationship is one of passion and power. Their true love relationship prevails over evil. At the beginning Wesley and Buttercup's relationship blossomed. They were able to interact and see each otehr everyday, and constantly Buttercup would ask Wesley to tend to her every need and would just say "as you wish" Over time they fell deeply in love. Their love grows only stronger in the following years to come when Wesley returns and finds out that Buttercup has been kidnapped Wesley risks everything to rescue her.
