“It’s so much easier for them!”, “It just makes them stupid, they need to read!”, “It is helpful but overused!”(anonym),… Those are the different opinions about the topic: Are children smarter because of the Internet? Obviously there are many different opinions and everybody says something else about this topic. All these contributions have good and strong arguments but they do not last long since the others tone them down really fast. But is there even a right opinion? “Internet” a topic that is since its creation a fissured matter of opinion especially in different ages. Some jobs are even almost impossible without the Internet. Many people neglect any other sources just because it is way easier to get information from the Internet than from books. That makes their job so much easier and faster. Children even look for Information about the topics they are interested in on the Internet. That is an easy way for them to get to extra information quick and easy. It makes the children smarter because if they are interested in something they can just google it really quick and they will find many different ways and learning styles so everybody can learn and remember the stuff they were looking …show more content…
Of course there are a couple of important questions about the usage of the Internet.
Do computer games make people stupid? No, actually the opposite. Studies show that games can have positive effects on abilities on how people think and how they find solutions for problems. It can also support the student’s motivation.
Or do computer games make feel addicted to it? Yes, people can get addicted to it but it would take a long time and it just happens in some cases.
Do computer games make people aggressive? Yes, it can make people aggressive but it also depends on the game and the amount of time that the child is playing the game. And it can also make the school grades bad if the child spends the whole with playing computer games. It has always been and will probably also be a complicated topic with many different opinions. And all the opinions have got points that are against or for Internet. But at the end there is no right opinion. Nobody knows if the Internet makes children smarter or not. They found out that it can make you sick and cause aggressions but they also found out that it can even help you in school with your grades or your social life. Basically the best resume of all points is that the Internet is healthy and really helpful in a daily base or at your work if you don’t use it too
