Questions:
When reading Anderson, Kanner, and Elsayegh article “Are Feminists Man-Haters?” I was intrigued that it mentioned the beliefs that men and women are dependent on each other. With that, why is it that society can’t see men and women as equally important when it has been proven that men and women depend on each other? Through my experience as a women I came to realize that there was an invisible system that created this male domination. How can this system be eliminated and if it were to be eliminated what types of changes can we expect to see?

Being comprised as a study allowed the article to state the method and results while showing the theoretical background of the issue as well as the role that ethnicity plays within the issue. Growing up with little to no male privilege around me I was surprised that the results showed a greater hostility toward men overall than a benevolence toward men. Just as Anderson states, “...women are dependent on men, so, too, are men dependent on women...” (p. 217) or so I believe. As a result, it is clear to see why society can’t view men and women as equally important. Society has developed believing men were superior even though society knew they needed women to continue their
