But I say that is not true. Others believe that the hearing aid is weird and makes her seem strange and unapproachable. In addition they might say she is too shy. Cece doesn’t try to make new relationships. But, the argument I support is Cece’s partial deafness affects making relationships between her family, friend, etc. The key points are, Cece isn’t really partially deaf, she is mainly deaf. People treated her differently, than how they usually treat each other. Cece feels bad for making people feel bad. These key points are showing why it affects her making/building on relationships between family, friends, and etc.
Cece partially deaf and it affects her. In the text it said, Cece’s friend, Ginny thought Cece was completely deaf because of the hearing aid. This supports my claim because This shows how Cece’s partial deafness affects making friends because people think she is completely deaf and when people think that she is completely deaf, they don't want to be friends with …show more content…
In the reading it said, Cece’s friend, Ginny thought was completly but, she wasn’t so she started talking extremely slow but, Cece can lip read and she is partially deaf no totally deaf. This shows how Cece’s partial deafness does affects making friends because people, such as Ginny told people Cece is one of her “DEAF FRIENDS” but, it wasn’t true because she is partially deaf not totally. Cece makes other feel bad because when she doesn’t know what they are saying, she said something random. In the graphic novel it said, A girl name “Bonnie” told Cece that her that “her grandma may die”, but, Cece thought Bonnie said “My grandma makes pie” and that made Bonnie feel bad. This shows how Cece’s partial deafness does affect making friends because Cece is partially deaf & that deafness affect her because when she can’t hear correctly, she can say something unreasonable/illogical about something that is completely different from what the conversation is
