Freedom Riders
In the last 100 years society, societal norms, and the United States has changed drastically. From a country that is known as the land of the free, the country 100 years ago was that truly, there was segregation occurring wide all over this nation. This land of freedom during those times divided it’s countrymen by race and unity meant in terms of of race. However, there were individuals who opposed such racial divide and wanted this racial segregation to end because at the end we all are human. These opposer to make their voice heard by using methods of protest, some violent and some none. One peaceful civil rights protest group was the Freedom Riders.
