I liked how you compared country music vs. hip-hop and how drastically different they treat women in their music industries. However, when you stated that you don't believe that hip-hop artists have any value in their music, I disagree with you. I believe that hip-hop has so much potential to be a really good way to express oneself and mention important social topics. That's what hip-hop used to be origianlly before it turned into degrading lyrics and videos. When Hurt interviewed young men and told them to rap about something besides degrading women or shooting up other men, they did in fact rap about interesting topics. People everywhere simply need to realize that the idea of hip-hop doesn't have to mean aggresssion, anger and dominance.
