In my opinion, this quote best describes Canada and Canadians because the country had always been a home for variety. If a country is to be a melting pot (creating one thing out of so many different things), the variety and diversity will be lost and not everyone will benefit. On the other hand, Canadians are like different kinds of vegetables that make up a salad. Each Canadians have different kinds of unique characteristics.
