Maybe because it makes you feel younger or makes you want to break out dancing. But in reality it makes you feel younger and for the most happier. That's the reason I listen to rap and Hip-Hop not to try to be a tough guy or a gangster but because I want to fit in and I grew up listening to 2pac, Ice Cube, Jay Z, and Kendrick Lamar. I have seen “crips” in the weirdest countries, where there shouldn’t be any at all. They only do this because of the whole Crip Walk @..%$ that popped off a couple yrs back. That was brought to them through hip hop. Yes Hip-Hop and RAp does talk about gangs and how they were gangsters but the music does not tell you to be a gangster or to rep bloods and crips, it just tells you what they did and what happen to them. If anything after I hear a song talking about being shot for wearing a certain color I wouldn't want to join a gang at
