Columbine is an event that everyone, especially in my home state of Colorado, will never forget. For many people, the event was supposed to be the end of mass murders in the United States. However, the Columbine shooting appears to have led to many copy-cat attacks. My first document comes from the Douglas County Sheriff in Colorado, but more importantly, my high school. I was able to find a copy of the arrest affidavit for Brooke Higgins, a junior at Mountain Vista High School who with her and her friend, Sienna Johnson, made credible threats on the school in December of 2015.
