Ducks Unlimited
Ducks unlimited was founded in 1937 in Memphis Tennessee. The idea for it came when a dustbowl destroyed acres of wetland habitat taking generations of animal species with it, specifically waterfowl. Some conservationalists realized what a threat this was to animals and then decided to raise money in America for habitat conservation in Canada. So for almost 80 years now they have been doing the same thing; spreading awareness about habitit loss and restoring and conserving waterfowl habitat. With a fairly large organization like this one the workers obviously need a boss or CEO which in this case is a man named Dale Hall. He was born in the USA and it is his job to make decisions for the company and to manage the operations they arry out. Before ducks unlimited he spent four years in the U.S. air force then, he moved onto the fish and wildlife service. From there he saw the ducks unlimited team in…show more content… But I also think that they could do a better job promoting their business, maybe through television or radio advertisements because I’ve never heard of them before this and those are widely used forms of media to bring attention to their cause and to get more supporters. Even though what this company is doing doesn’t affect me personally, it still affects my community for the better and this is why I support them. They are saving habitats and ecosystems that will save not only the birds, but so many other animal species that live there as well all over North America like in Ontario where I live they are helping the greenbelt. I would probably work for ducks unlimited because they aren’t in it for the money, and they have a great cause; saving the environment. Environment conservation is also very important to me so it would be nice to be around people who think the same and want to
