Minerva is described as the Roman goddess of many things but she was mostly known as the goddess of wisdom. After impregnating a titan named Metis, Jupiter, the King of Gods, had heard a prophecy that one of his kids will one day overthrow his power and become the next King. In fear that one of his kids will grow stronger than him and take his place in running the Heavens, Jupiter had swallowed Metis whole. Metis, still in Jupiter's stomach, gave birth to Minerva. Metis forged weapons and armor within his stomach and when the pain of a stomach ache became too unbearable, Jupiter split his stomach open and out popped Minerve with more guts than glory.
