As normal as it is for women to vote today, back in the 19th and early 20th century, there was no such right for them. They didn’t have a voice even after all those years of being part of a new nation and helping men in war. But, a ‘progressive’ era wouldn’t be progressive if women weren’t granted the right to a voice. Since the Bill of Rights is so broad, there was never any specification of women’s rights. It was always interpreted to men considering it was written and signed by the founding fathers. But, when war broke out in the United States, women became a huge help the nation.
