In the text, “Pro/Con: Should the Electoral College be abolished,” it states, “Without the Electoral College, issues pertinent to Wyomans would not likely make it to the national conversation during presidential campaign season, he said.” This shows how the Electoral College does help other states get recognized. Though the Electoral College does help other states get recognized, the other populated states aren’t getting recognized. In the text, “RedBlueAmerica: Time to replace the Electoral College,” it also states, “What’s good is that the outcome reflects geographic and political diversity of a republic of nearly 325 million people.” This shows how there is a good outcome to all this. However there is still not a good outcome, because the Electoral College only helps out the smaller states. Leaving the more populated states without a say.
The Electoral College will and probably stay a debate for many years. There are many pros to the Electoral College and many cons. Everyone has their own opinion on the Electoral College. This organization leaves people upset and unrecognized because they don’t care which president has the most votes. They just go with what and who they want for
