The Hitchcock family is a family I've always been proud to be a part of. My family is the most important thing in my life and has been for as long as I can remember. We've been through some rough times throughout my existence. Yet, no matter how big or small the issue is, we have survived and we have recovered. No matter the circumstances, there's always someone with a smile and a hug to greet you. Although we've had our struggles in life, the blithe memories outweigh the bad. I do agree, under certain circumstances, corporal punishment is justified. Regardless, it is my personal belief that one should never lay a hand on another in a negative manner unless absolutely necessary. I feel that the fact that adults can hit their children with no repercussions is biased and iniquitous. Fair or not, it's what stands to be and I am very much aware of that. I also believe that self-defense is justified. As I'm sure you can understand, it's very difficult for me to allow someone to hurt me without reciprocating the action. I understand that you are much older, wiser, and stronger than I am and I love and respect you more than anyone else in my life.
