Religious Freedom Act
Early settlers fled from religious persecution in England in search of a land of undiscovered freedoms. That search of a land of undiscovered freedom gave way to the freedom of religion we have today and not having the government telling you how to live but allowing you to live by your own religious choice. But allowing a nation of so many different religious beliefs causes problems like, if the right of one religion disrupts or disrespects another which takes more precedence over the other and should be protected by the religious freedom act?

The Religious Freedom act going away could just become the tip of the iceberg of censorship in the free world as a whole. Once you put in a system that says the government can say which opinions or ways of thought matter then you have a system that could turn on anyone at anytime simply because it can or wants to, you have a system akin to Communism where only speech that helps a governments advancement of authority over its people is allowed to be spoken. Heck China (A communist country) has Freedom of Speech but yet their citizens are still censored and punished for speaking out of turn. (stanford.edu) Could something like this happen maybe, maybe not, but allowing the government to stick it's hand in what people say and do could only help a situation like this.
