In Japan they do year round schools and thier students have way better testing scores then students in the U.S..
When children go to year round school they actually enjoy it more! Both teachers and students expirence a closer relationship then in traditinal shorter calender schools. The students also hold more respect for thier teachers. They do this because the breaks that occur every 15-45 days help refresh thier minds, and in that case they love school. For example, if you had to write a 50 page paper, would you rather do it in parts with breaks in-between or do it all in one sitting?
