1. Altruistic Suicide is correlated with High Integration into society. When social integration is too strong, the individual is literally forced into committing suicide. Example is a suicide bomber, Durkheim called altruism, and whose corresponding mode of self-inflicted death was called obligatory altruistic suicide. (Crossman, 2017) One could even say a parent heroically dying pushing their child out of the way of a car could be considered a form of altruistic suicide. Egotistic Suicide is linked to Low Societal ties and results from the lack of the integration of the individual into his social group. This individual experienced a sense of meaninglessness. These feelings stem from currents of incurable weariness and sad depression. We learn our norms and morals from society and internalize them into the self. Also, if people are left to peruse whatever they may wish to do, there is a likeliness that they may be lead to feel considerable personal dissatisfaction; Because all needs cannot be fulfilled, and results in man no longer finding a basis for existence in life.
