Arguments Against Prohibition

The Prohibition was a law against the citizen’s consumption rights, and many people didn’t approve it. Prohibition is an act with the objective of forbid the selling and the consumption of alcohol. The 18th Amendment established the prohibition of alcoholic products in the entire US. We should not accept this kind of deprivation of people's consumer rights; alcohol is more than just a drink, which is why people should have the right to consume it when they want. There are many places that sell alcohol illegally. Many Speakeasies were created around the US to provide people alcoholic drinks. Searching further, I discovered that there are certain bars called Speakeasies which sell alcoholic beverages illegally. This only reinforces my argument
