Day in and day out we prepare for the game coming up. We prepare in every aspect from mental to physical to unknowns everything in covered. Every part of the team is important and cooperation is a must. Even if everything falls apart the team is still alive and we will fight for our goal. I have been apart of varsity sports at Argyle and I have learned numerous life lessons that would be hard to learn elsewhere. The importance of determination, goals, teamwork, and preparation that is necessary. These lessons are not our fore focus while playing the sport but, we learn them as the team succeeds and overcomes adversity. While attending Argyle High School I got to be a part of a football team that has gotten to the state game. While heartbreaking that we lost it showed that life is full of success and heartbreak that must be overcome to be successful. Whether someone is the star on friday night or the person showing them what they can except on friday night. They are an important part of the team. When disagreements show up it was put aside so that the common goal could be achieved. This teamwork will be very applicable in the workplace and on group projects in the future. Everyone has strengths and when they all work together amazing things can happen. My involvement on the wrestling also taught me many lessons. Being part of the Wrestling team takes a different kind of teamwork and has taught me different lessons that I also find important. Wrestling is more of an individual sport and simulates the teamwork in a different way. The easiest way for me to describe it is people with the same jobs want to be the best they can be at a certain job and work together to improve their craft. In wrestling everyone has the job to win their weight class and it is all up to one person at a time to that preparation and apply
