How are you? In this latter, I will be talking about our current issue on fossil fuels here in Arizona. Let’s face it, our environment is dying. We are causing the atmosphere to become polluted more than ever in the lifetime of the earth. By using technology, cars, and other factors so much, it wastes energy (I’m guilty). Not only does wasting energy or power affects our sweet bills, it affects the climate. In effect, Coal, oil, and natural gas is burned, which releases Carbon Dioxide (C02) In the atmosphere. The Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere produces thick layers of greenhouse gas all around the earth. The result of the greenhouse gas creates global warming. The best way to solve a problem is to find a solution. I as a citizen can start making a difference by writing this letter to you, Senator McGuire.

As a result, Arizona is in second place in the nation for the utility-scale electricity generation from solar energy in 2014. The consequence of the small industrial sectors and Arizonans energy consumption has caused Arizona to become the 44th in the nation in per capital energy consumption in 2013. The current supplies of fossil fuels such coal is burned 7-to-8 million tons yearly. More than one-third is made here in Arizona. The disadvantage, in this case, the amounts of fossil fuel made is releasing tons and tons of carbon dioxide in the beautiful atmosphere, which produces concentration. At the end of the day, the only advantage is having energy. The next fossil fuel is natural gas (31.1%). Three-quarters of Arizona’s natural gas supply is used to create electric power. Texas, Homes, and others depend on natural gas for heating. But here’s the problem. We need to use more natural gas because it is cleaner than most gas, it is most …show more content…
I believe that we should use these alternative energies that can adapt to our hot and dry environment. Solar energy is the top. Arizona is a sunshine state all year round. Solar energy will be helpful. Geothermal energy is helpful by heat pulled from underneath the earth. It goes down every 100 meters. Below, 10,000 meters the temperature increases dramatically (especially in Arizona). Water occurs gradually than the hot rock boils the water. The boiling water produces steam. Then the steam is captured by geothermal heat pumps. Biomass is used by a process of biological and waste materials. We can use it for transportation, heating, and power generation. Even, in the ancient times people use it to heat their homes using wood. Hydroelectric energy uses solar and the wind. Wind and sun mixed in the win turbans make the water evaporate, then it drops into the water. The movement of the water creates energy.
