With his hard work and dedication, Miller was able to go to college. While being majored in English at The University of Michigan, Miller had won two of the university’s five-hundred-dollar Avery Hopwood Award playwriting awards for “Honors at Dawn” and “No Villain”, which is where his most prominent playwriting began. I assume Miller didn’t have enough money from his university, Marino and Helterman didn’t mention what he need it for.
