In the Article, “Knowing Kinesiology”, the author pursues to rationalize the study of various types of knowledge. In studying diverse subdiscplines, students gain different knowledge in order to allow students to do their potential professional jobs in kinesiology better. By studying these different topics, one will broaden their understanding and may even find new interests. Nevertheless, in having different subdiscplines, students have the choice of studying topics that are more suited to each unique, multilayered person. As a result of this, students show more interest in what they’re studying causing them to do increasingly better in their studies. For example, I wish to be educated as a physiotherapist.
