My arts challenge
My arts challenge is choreographing; I have decided to chorography a contemporary to feeling good by Michael Buble.I am going to achieve this target becoming in after school to practise and to help from my friends and teachers, I feel that I am slowly reaching my target and slowly but surely getting better at making up dances on my own and choosing the suitable music to go with the choreographed dance.
My strengths
I find my strengths are performing a choreographed dance; I am able to use extension when preforming to project my movements e.g. when performing a slow dance I use different dynamics than when I am performing a fast dance. When I am preforming a slow dance I use gentle, calm and controlled movement but when performing a fast dance I use strong and powerful movements.
My weaknesses
I find my weaknesses are choreographing dances; I am not able to think of the suitable movements but if I am given a set of movement I am able to create a new suitable dance that flows. I mostly have a problem with fast dances; I find it difficult to get the count of the movement’s right. I will achieve this by watching someone who is good at making up slow dance and take ideas from the dance.What did you do? (Summarise your arts challenge)
I felt my arts challenge could have gone better, my arts challenge was to choreograph and dance and perform it to an audience.
