I am writing to apply for a position in the training program (or whatever) at Oglivie (or whomever). So and so (personal friend, Northwestern’s career office, etc) recommended that I contact you.
Olgivie is at the epicenter of the media world. I am inspired by the work the firm has done for (mention some research – a project on the web, an article from a design magazine, an interview in the WSJ with the CEO, etc.)
I recently completed a media planning internship at the Carat Agency, working with the Home Depot Team. At Carat, I created and presented an integrated media plan for Home Deport which I presented to senior agency leadership, compiled competitor and brand reports, and researched mobile app growth opportunities.
In 2011, I worked as an intern at Kay Unger New York and Phoebe Couture in the sales and marketing department. There, I helped plan a “Fashion Night Out” event at Lord & Taylor. I contacted the Today Show, which agreed to film the event, a first for Kay Unger.
