Asheville Courtroom Observation

Observation Paper I sat in the Asheville mall in the food court watching people come and go. It was almost dinner time and people were starting to come in and order food. When I first arrived, I ordered my food from Sarku (Japanese food) and I waited in line for it. The normal guy behind the counter must have just been leaving as he was wearing a Hawaiian type shirt. There was a guy out front passing out samples of the chicken. They dress all in black with big white chef hats. The smells of the Chinese place in the next store mixed with the chicken teriyaki and vegetables. He was making a fresh batch for the dinner rush that would be coming. I watched as the chicken sizzled and browned and as he added butter and sauce. As I stood there the young girl that came behind me had two orders. I believe she was on a dinner break from the local pet store as she was wearing a black shirt with a pet logo on it and she ordered it to go. When I say alternative, it is a term I used when I was growing up that refers to a type of music that usually influenced people to dress in a certain manner. The young girl with them had beautiful red hair, fair skin, freckles and a pretty smile. She headed to the playground, the father had walked off, but the young mother sat down and watched. She also had fair skin and freckles, her hair was shaved on both sides and the rest of her short locks were pulled back into a miniature ponytail. She wore plaid shorts and a tank top. If I could have spent more time there I would have liked to observe their family dynamics. The normal custodian for the food court was dressed in black slacks and a red shirt, he was spot sweeping and throwing away garbage in a trash
